From humble beginnings
to multi-site expansion.
A timeline of the key moments that have shaped Greensafe's continued growth and success.
Greensafe IT is founded
Established in Bromsgrove to provide secure, sustainable ITAD services — data wiping, recycling, refurbishment and remarketing of IT assets.
Relocation to freehold facility
Moved operations to a 25,000 sq ft freehold site at Hoo Farm Industrial Estate, Kidderminster. By this point, 90% of business was driven through channel partners.
Brand refresh & strategic growth
Rebranded to reflect a broader vision. Introduced a six-division service model, processed over 180,000 devices, and gained public-sector access through the G-Cloud framework.
Facility expansion
Warehouse footprint more than doubled to 60,000 sq ft. New office and configuration suites were established to support growing customer demand.
Diversified services
Launched Managed Print and Warranty Support services. Headcount grew to 95 permanent employees, reflecting continued growth across every service area.
Operational transformation
Redesigned ITAD processes for efficiency and scalability — new infrastructure, technology upgrades and night-shift operations to meet rising demand.
Post-pandemic service acceleration
Adapted rapidly to shifting user needs, with 90% of deployments focused on laptops. The Swap-IT service expanded significantly across the client base.
MyOnlineWarehouse launches
Released MyOnlineWarehouse — a self-service platform giving customers real-time visibility and control over their stock, orders and IT assets online.
European launch
Opened our first European operation in Utrecht, Netherlands — delivering IT lifecycle services with an increased focus on sustainable, climate-aware logistics.
Migration Kings launches
Released Migration Kings — a dedicated service for large-scale device migrations and rollouts, streamlining deployments for customers at scale.
Refurbishment & break-fix innovation
Developed new break-fix and refurbishment solutions designed to extend device life and strengthen our circular-economy offering.
Berry Hill site opens
Opened a new site at Berry Hill to accommodate continued growth. The team expanded to over 190 permanent employees, with further scaling in progress.
Global partnerships begin
Launched partnerships across the world, already delivering large programmes of work with major US firms as our international footprint expands.
New Kidderminster warehouse
Commissioning a new warehouse in Kidderminster to expand our operational base and support continued growth across the business.
